Linen is woven textile from flax fibers. Linen is lint-free and fairly resistant to dirt and bacteria. At the same time, linen is antistatic. It is a climate regulating and cools or warms depending on the surrounding temperature. It has tensile strength while being non-elastic. Linen is bound to wrinkle easily but is very durable and sturdy.
Composition and Care

Care: Linen is best washed at temperatures up to 40° C in the washing machine with low spinning cycle, so the fabric will not wrinkle as much. The easiest way to iron linen is from the inside when it is still slightly damp – even with high temperatures. Alternatively, it is possible to use a steam iron or to iron the fabric under a damp cloth in order to avoid shiny ironing spots. If you’d like the linen fabric to be a little softer, you may dry it in the dryer, but careful – only with low temperatures.
